I think UNCC came to play, and they never gave up. They just ran into a more talented team with a better defensive structure.

Hell, you guys executed your defensive strategy pretty well, we didn't shoot well and our best player only had 3 points.

Their shooting couldn’t have been that bad at home, and they closed both halves on runs, so I think that would’ve been enough to catch us.

Yes. The first gold rush in the US was in North Carolina which led to the establishment of a US Mint in Charlotte for the production Gold coins.

I was there. We dominated. Our defensive effort was the off the charts. Only foul shooting made the score respectable. They may have talent but we have fight , and Dustin Kerns.

This whole thread has been a learning experience for me. I didn’t realize there WAS a UNC in Charlotte. Maybe they’re more of a football school?

Well we have had a basketball program for 80 years longer than Harrisburg. That seems to make a difference in their excuse notebook.

They compare pretty well with Coastal in football. Wouldn’t finish near the top half of the Sunbelt.

We thought they were improved this year. Just didn’t show it much in the few games after ours.
