Georgia State
First of three big home games in a short time frame. Unfortunately students won’t be back to build on the atmosphere change we’ve been seeing. GSU is one of the best Sunbelt programs year in and year out. We need to take them down and keep this train rolling!

Re: Georgia State
I don’t know about best year in and year out, they just got throttled by Wyoming. Our conference has been pretty meh when it comes to OOC, which makes games in conference less interesting because if we win, that’s great, but our SOS takes huge hits and if we lose... Jesus save us lol

Re: Georgia State
I couldn’t agree more. We haven’t been 2-0 in the conference in a long time, and this is a great opportunity to build some momentum.Stonewall wrote: ↑Wed Jan 01, 2020 12:48 pmFirst of three big home games in a short time frame. I’ll definitely be there, and I hope that the locals will come out to support our basketball team. I see great things in our basketball future !

I’ll be there Saturday for the southern game with my 2 boys. I also went to the game at ETSU and was impressed with our development in a short amount of time, despite the loss.

Re: Georgia State
This Ga State team has won 8 of their last 9. From a stats standpoint in virtually every offensive category that are ahead of us. Without the students being there, the homecourt advantage will be lessened. This game will tell us how we stand v. the top of the conference.

Re: Georgia State
Don’t like it at all that we are going to play 3 home games in 7 days.
Also don’t like any home games when students are not back on campus in full.
Hoping everyone living near Boone will come out and the help the team take another step on the stairs.

Re: Georgia State
They are 6-0 at home, but only 2-4 on the road. It's too bad that the students won't be back to help give us a greater "sixth man". Especially since we have lost the last 7 games against them.hapapp wrote: ↑Wed Jan 01, 2020 2:58 pmThis Ga State team has won 8 of their last 9. The only lost to Duke by 11 and lost to Georgetown by 8, so they aren't a bad team by any measure.
Georgia State is 5-0 when it holds an opponent to 69 points or fewer. The Panthers are 4-4 when opponents score more than 69. We will have to slow the game down and limit their opportunities to score. Better field goal shooting and making our free throws will be a key as well.

Re: Georgia State
Thankfully so do they! If we can settle down we can win this, if we don't we may get blown out.
