I think If Georgia St drops games against Southern & Little Rock and Georgia Southern loses to Arkansas State. I feel like we lose tiebreakers against everyone except Georgia Southern right now.

Yes , K Lewis man defense in the second half was a difference maker. He rose to the challenge, upside is huge.

0 for Troy was a great ball handler and slasher, Troy did well when Lewis got two fouls and had to sit. Lewis shut him down in the second half, really led to the comeback.

If he works on his shot this offseason, lookout.

Nevermind, I forgot USA has beaten Little Rock. I thought our win over Texas State, who is currently second, would be a tiebreaker,.

Oh I didn't realize the multi team tiebreaker uses record against the whole tied group first. So hopefully Georgia Southern ends up tied with us so that double win counts.

Basically, we have an advantage over Georgia Southern, but not South Alabama due to them beating first-place Little Rock, or Georgia State due to losing both games to them. And we'd lose to UTA as well because they also beat Little Rock.

I honestly came into the season with a year zero mentality. I was looking for increased effort, better in game coaching/adjustments but that was really it. I expected us to look better than last year but not this. I remember the Michigan game to open the season and thinking during the first half that it was going to be a long season and was already gearing up for moral victories. But after that HUGE rally to get back into that game I was so surprised with the effort and fight from our guys but still thought it was a bit of fools gold. But as this season has worn on this team has hung it's hat on not giving up and playing hard. Kerns is always making adjustments on the fly(which I love), like throwing out the zone for the first time in the game against Troy in the closing minutes out of a timeout and it styimed what they were doing. The simple fact of the matter is it is February 24 and we are still talking about our basketball team in a positive light with the real possibility of post season play. Once Kerns gets some depth on the squad this team will make some serious noise in the Fun Belt and beyond.

To make a longer post shorter; Gillin and Kerns have done their jobs in making this program relevant again. It is now up to us as the Alumni/fan base to give them the support they need/deserve to take this to the next level. We have begged and bemoaned for a spark on the hardwood for years well here it is let's stoke it into a roaring fire!

Yah this season has been great to watch. Hopefully they can keep fighting hard and make it down to New Orleans in a couple weeks. It'd be great to see them on TV during championship week.

Favorite play was the Kendell Lewis dunk immediately followed by him pointing at the guy he dunked on. Super petty and I love it!

I thought Lewis was fouled, as well. Maybe that’s why he was pointing.

Hopefully that was the reason. It is extremely seldom that I criticise an App player or coach in recent years, but poor sportsmanship is never excused except maybe when it's against Ga Southern. lol. Maybe. But two wrongs don't make a right, my 14 year old keeps reminding me.

Georgia St would be 11-9 so tiebreaker doesn't come into play, same with UTA.

Kudos to everyone for figuring out the tiebreakers, but it's too much for me to try and follow right now. If you tell me App will finish 18-13 (12-8), I'll take it all day and let the chips fall where they may in terms of seeding.

It is weird(in the best way possible) seeing the bigger number on the left as opposed to the right. The general excitement for App basketball in February (almost March) is a feeling that we haven't felt in a good long while!
