				Wednesday March 11th @ 8pm, stream via ESPN+.
TXST is the 3 seed, 20-11 / 13-7 on the season. They beat us by 25 in San Marcos January 11th. We returned the favor with a 3 point win at home Feb. 8th.
We can beat these guys. They're only 2 conference wins better than us this year.

We can't dig ourselves out of a hole against Tx. St like we did against Coastal. Have to keep it close to have a chance.

At this point, we are playing with house money. I hope we come out loose, confident, and pin our ears back and go after it. March magic doesn't happen for the timid, but for the underdogs who come out with that fire in the eyes. Go get 'em Apps!

I'd love to come out hot and sustain it but I think it'll be a slow start and we'll have to claw back, that seems to be a trend. Once that happens it's so hard to win.

We have one Texas MBB recruit/commit who lives under 200 miles SE of San Marcos. I trust Jordan Ivy-Curry and his family will be our guests behind the App bench tonight. I also hope JIC can envision his possible role on our 2020-21 team minus O'Showen at the point.

Line is Texas St. -7, I'd say that's fair.

I missed that, but I'm really not surprised. He's got recruiters working on his head/ego, bigtime.

Free throws are going to be HUGE in this game. Can't miss as many as we did vs Coastal.

How many possessions have been wasted with a long 3 with 20+ seconds on the shot clock

A lot, you can get that shot anytime. I also dig that another team can’t miss against us.

Waaaay too many, I say it every game. I don’t get it, when we drive we score or get fouled. On some of the 3’s, we might as well shoot from half court.
GO APPS!!

Turnovers really come in bunches with this team, definitely a point of focus for next year.

Ten turnovers , a lot of Texas State layups , we are getting whipped in every aspect except fouls. Down 14. We’ve got them right where we want them.

6300 in attendance, second largest crowd ever. Obviously not on spring break yet. Went to the football game there two years ago and doubt there were 6300 them. Wow.

Fall always, threes, bank shots, they can’t miss, at least we keep turning the ball over and hitting 10% from three.

They try and score way too fast every time. Control and move the ball to find/ create the shot. They waste possessions on Shots a rec league coaches would be pissed their players took.
