We look to go 9 or 10 deep at present.Conference play should be a lot of fun.

not that it's crucial since the starting 5 aren't necessarily always the top 5 producers, but it will be interesting to see if Parker ends up cracking the starting lineup as opposed to Almonacy or someone else. Will Forrest continue to come off of the bench his senior year, etc.? We have lots of guards and stretch forwards and not much muscle down low that can produce points. We need 2 or 3 consistent scorers from deep for us to improve much on last year's result, in my opinion. Delph and Almonacy have shown they can score from deep, but can they do it consistently? It looks like lots of guys have the green light to shoot 3's (Huntley, Duhart, Wilson, etc.), but we aren't making a ton in an offense that seems to rely on them a good bit.

Its really hard to know what we have based on all the non-D1 competition. We have played 4 D1 teams, and stand 2-2 in those. We won one in a blow out, we lost one in a big time blowout, won a close win, and lost a close one in OT. We seem to be better from the FT line but are shooting blanks from three.

We have one more OOC game at Auburn before conference play starts with Troy. Auburn is 4-2 with a win over Belt foe USA (90-81). They play Troy tomorrow. So, they will have played two of our conference mates by the time we play them, perhaps giving some idea of where we stand heading into conference play.

I agree that it's hard to tell where we stand. We won't know until we get into our conference schedule against programs we know more about. TN was disappointing to say the least. The non-D1 games are pretty meaningless at this point. The first couple were good for us, but I'm not sure they have any value in terms of team development at this point. It's just one more disappointing aspect of what 2020 has been. I do believe we are improving and playing better "team" ball than we've seen for a long time. I like that we play solid D. If our O can make some noise, we could make some SBC noise.

Auburn, our next opponent, defeated our first conference opponent Troy, by 36 today.
