MBB vs Georgia Southern Discussion (1/8 6pm & 1/9 4pm)
GS are also 7-4 overall, 1-1 in conference. OOC they got stomped by Davidson and beat FIU. In conference they split their first series with South Alabama.
For all intents and purposes they have a very similar team to ours: Blowing out bad D2 schools, tight overtime game vs an OOC peer, and they split their conference series in very similar fashion to ours...getting beat soundly in the first game and blowing USA out in the run back.
Both games will be on ESPN+, listen via AppStateSports.com and the tune-in app.

I have a feeling we will trade a lot of series this year. Seems like almost every team in the league went 1-1 on the weekend.

We’ve had a a lot of players step up and have 2 or 3 individual great games. If we can get some consistency out of each of them every game this team is dangerous.

Yeah this just feels destined to be another split. Who knows though, maybe the last game will be a turning point.

If we are going to finish top 3 in the East, we need to beat up on the Troys and Southerns of the division. Coastal, Georgia State, and South Alabama are all really talented this year in my opinion so we should be aiming for splits with those schools and sweeps of Troy/Southern. If we play like we did game 2 against Troy and get Lewis back get the brooms out

I don’t see him on the bench, can I get a PM to what is going on?
GS wants the ball more tonight, much more active than us.

Wheels fell off deep in the 1st half. Down 10 at halftime.

I have noticed on more than one game this year (not just us) that there are lots of guys with masks down around their chins on the sidelines. What exactly is the point of “wearing” one down on the bench and what is being accomplished with bench chairs like 2’ apart?

Don't look at the women's score.

Donovan Gregory is such a great player, the must underrated thing about the Kerns hire was being able to hold onto him as a commit
