I retract what I wrote earlier. Never give up on Kerns’ team. And yes, we can play without James Lewis apparently. It’s called Xavion Brown. His hustle and defense was huge. We just played both OTs with 5 guards on the floor...and won.

Great job by the team fighting back. Clutch effort. That was a deep hole to get out of but they really turned it on. The small ball actually worked. I thought we were toast with Lewis out.

GS got flat outcoached tonight. They should have won by 15.

Kerns has outcoached them all 3 games this year. Congrats to the men for digging deep.

I was at work and saw the score. Thought “no reason to watch”. I’ll watch it twice tonight.

No GS player logged 35 minutes, four Apps had 41+ minutes. If the game is tight late GS should have the edge.

Looks like we’re 4th in the East and will likely play Little Rock and then Texas St if we win.
I think the East is the tougher division, will be interesting to see. I think GA St and USA are the teams to beat.

Yah I agree with you that GA St & USA look good although I admittedly haven't watched more then a few minutes of Texas St this year. Ken Pom tends to be fairly close as far as Power Rankings go and they've got Georgia St as highest of the SB schools at #145 and notably the only team to beat G St twice in this shortened season was App!
after UALR > Texas St looks like App would likely play either South Alabama or Georgia St once more lol.

That's 1-0 of the opportunity to go 2-0 this weekend.!! So-crates (for you Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure fans) once said, "one cannot go 2-0 this weekend unless you win the first game"
Way to pull a win out of a game looking like a loss early on!!

There’s some truth in that But, I said it was bad....and it was. Very happy the guys got that 5 game monkey off their backs. Love beating the Stink.

I absolutely love Brown’s play, give him another offseason and he’s going to be great.

The tv production quality (just simple things) of some high school games on small local stations should set some kind of basic example/standard for ESPN+ to try and live up to... till then, guess I’ll still be a sucker for $5 a month...
