Hot shooting, but this pace likely doesn’t last.

This is not the main Bay Arena for the tournament. 2 of the first round games were played in this smaller arena on day one and we happened to be one of those games. Ark St- Ga Southern was the other one. Every game after today will be in the Pensacola Bay Arena.

Without crowds it doesn't really matter but this is the basketball court for the college that was a junior college until very recently and still plays in a junior conference athletic league.app97 wrote: ↑Fri Mar 05, 2021 9:55 pmThis is not the main Bay Arena for the tournament. 2 of the first round games were played in this smaller arena on day one and we happened to be one of those games. What bothers me from an amateurish look is the fact I can hear the announcers banter back and forth during commercials.
More importantly than the arena or audio is the fact we are winning as I type this.
This is my very generic signature added to each post.

A) no announcers in this league can pronounce Almonacy correctly.
B) Justin Forrest missed the FT with 18 seconds left that would have set his season high scoring. Tied it with the front half of the 2 FT shots...missed the go-ahead. 🦵

What a gritty win! Great at breaking the press and free throw shooting down the stretch.
Good win guys!

Texas St will be tough. The two best defenses in the league squaring off should be interesting. We owe them one for knocking us off in round 2 last year.

Good win! Little Rock’s length gave us problems but the team figured it out and played tough. They are still using 2 gyms today. At least we have moved up from Broome-Kirk Gym to Varsity Gym for tonight’s action. No offense to BKG, I sure played a lot of hoops in that gym before the Quinn came about. Glory days lol

I was going to mention the length of UALR. With no big post presence and that 2/3 zone we had to shoot...and hit outside. A good win.APPChad90 wrote: ↑Sat Mar 06, 2021 10:12 amGood win!
