After three games in three days with two of them going into OT. I gave our guys zero chance tonight. I was just happy we made it to the championship game after many years of bad round ball. But these guys have heart. I've never seen a team play as hard as these guys do. They sure are fun to watch. GO APPS!

Here’s a fun story about the last trip we took to the dance. I was a sophomore, living in Kingswood “condominiums”. I clearly remember taking our Christmas tree out to the woods behind/above the apartments at halftime of the conference championship game (I was going through a manic cleaning session that day).

I was there too in 2000 right behind the bench - easy to spot on the broadcast because I was right beside a dude in a pastel tie-dyed App shirt. Went to Nashville for the NCAA 1st Round vs Ohio St. Had the same feeling that App State basketball was here to stay. Tonight was special. Definitely thought of Rufus when Almonacy was hitting those 3s.
