Conference play begins New Year’s Eve eve when we host 5-5 Louisiana to Holmes.

Proud of the way our men played at Duke. The Devils woke up late and put it on us but we held serve for a half. Didn’t get to watch the UNC game because of ACCN but we were only down 8 at halftime. Tough two game stretch.

ESPN Power Index says we win the game 69% of the time. We’re 5-1 at home. Louisiana is 1-4 on the road.

Let’s get that 1-0 SB start.

Tickets for this game are very inexpensive.

I adjusted the title of the thread. I could swear it was listed as a 7pm tip on the ESPN app when I originally posted. Thanks for the correction.

Prefer a 7 tip but plan on making the drive up Thursday and Saturday.We need a good start to the conference grind.

Not trying to be a smartARSE...just pointing out that the game is Thursday Dec 30th, which is not New Years Eve. Please correct me if I am wrong. I don't want anyone to miss it thinking it is Dec 31st from the New Years Eve on the OP.

What is the latest on Basketball parking? Any suggestions for this Thursday's Game? Is the parking deck free after a certain time?

The Rivers Street deck was free parking after 5:00 when we played UNCC. I parked there and it was great!

Does anyone know the reasoning behind the tip-off times being moved back to 6:30 this season?

It's been tough for me to get off work, drive 1/2 hour home, get parked, walk in, and make it to my seats before halfway through the 1st half at best.

I'm not sure if anyone else is having the same experience. Maybe not, but I'm curious.

I questioned this a month ago. 6:30 is a bad time for a game to start. Maybe not for a football game on a Saturday but weeknight basketball games at 6:30 are nearly impossible for out of town fans to make it to on time. Not sure why we did this.

ugly start against an undermanned team. If Huntly wants to see more playing time, he needs to fight harder for Rebounds and get off the three point line

Uninspired basketball, very tough to watch. Down 20 at home in the first half against a team with three players and their head coach out. SMH

Worst offensive team I have ever seen! On the other hand their play is offensive!

I had zero interest while in school bc weren’t very good and I didn’t want to spend time watching us lose. I’m afraid the same will continue.

Simply put, this team is awful/bad, hard to watch. Occasionally you'll see a little spark here and there, however, overall at best marginal.

Kerns didn’t seem into the game. We brought 8 adults and 10 kids, apologies for those sitting in upper section 11, but our kids may be only people that had fun tonight.
