App 11-9
Georgia Southern 8-8
BPI says Eagles have a 61% chance to win.
Delph was a beast against Georgia State scoring 29. As a team we shot 44% from the floor. Justin Forrest couldn’t hit water from a boat from 3 but he did what a veteran player does down the stretch and was clutch in the end.
On paper these teams are evenly matched but GS has lost 4 of their last 5. Their guard Elijah McCadden will be a handful.

Here is a compliment for Kerns. The adjustment to let Donovan Gregory handle the basketball more and pass is brilliant. We, as a team, struggle dribbling in traffic and finding the open man. Donovan is making great decisions and not turning it over AND he can finish if he needs to. When he backs someone down and then passes to any of the four 3point shooters, Huntley, Forest, Almonacy or Delph is working and if they don't double him he is tough to stop on the block. Our guards don't have to dribble to get open...they can move without the ball and Gregory can find them. Again, BRILLIANT.

We've emerged with 3 really solid ball handlers who can all shoot. Donovan Gregory, Michael Almonacy, and Justin Forrest. All 3 are tremendous threats to get hot. We've seen each one do it multiple times in the last season and a half. Plus you've got a serious weapon in Adrian Delph who can score from anywhere. Dude was on fire vs Georgia State.
Yeah, they can play sloppy at times but this season we've seen them and Dustin Kerns take a huge step in their ability to adjust.

Gregory is our best all around player.

Line is GS -1.5
O/U is 130.5
I’m not a betting man but I’d take the under. App has been winning low scoring games all year. Outside of the coastal game that went to OT nobody has scored more than 68 on us in the last 5 games.

RealTimeRPI.com has it as the iggles by 5 with a 62.3% chance of pulling it off. In their analysis, they cite Burg's new "blue collar" defense, their home court advantage this afternoon and Burg's busload of transfers from
Gonzaga, UVa, Va Tech, Illinois-Chicago, Southern Cal, FAU, two Florida JuCos and a Texas JuCo.

Forrest playing an excellent game so far. Best performance of the season. Taking charges, getting steals defensively, already 3+ assists, and shooting efficiently (while taking good shots!)
Huge impact so far

For those that struggle with the ESPN+ announcers as I do, try listening to our radio guy. He does a heck of a job. I downloaded the The Varsity Network app which is free and Bluetooth through a sound bar. If the timing is off you can use pause to synch up. I’ve been doing this all season and it’s far more enjoyable.

Dude so often hits clutch shots but man it’s hard watching him drive into the paint out of control every single game. He drives, flails, and hopes to get a foul or find an outlet.

Hard watching these officials swallow the whistle against the iggles

Is it a product of the overall style of play in these games or more of bad officiating in that there never seems to be many fouls called? I hate seeing constant fouls but way too much stuff goes uncalled.
Also not to be too picky but why would Kerns call a TO after a made basket at the 8:02 mark? Next dead ball is a free TO

My guess is rest. He’s tightened the rotation.
We got this.

Our offense of running isolation plays don’t lend itself to drawing fouls. The lack of moment on offense is tough sometimes.
