Every game is important. I would love to see this team win the SBC tournament as the 1 seed and go back to the NCAA tournament. But...if that doesn't work out is an NIT bid (with possibly a first round game at home) in our future? Either way, we are playing now for a post season spot in March.

Historically, the NIT chooses any regular season winner who doesn't win the conference tournament and does not get an at-large bid.

The NIT tournament is very important for a team taking the stairs...Exposure on ESPN and recruits. Especially if we can put together a string of wins in the tournament. NCAA we are going to be playing a tough out. NIT we will be playing a beatable team. Of course I would rather have the NCAA chance but the NIT is legit.

Obviously we all want App to make the tournament but in a 1 bid league it’s difficult to make. If we miss the NCAA a deep run in the NIT is better than missing the post season entirely.

Coastal at UTA game for tonight has been cancelled due to weather concerns. Our game with them on Saturday is still on as of now.

Bad start. Delph as 15 but we're shooting 33% from the field and not getting to the line. Only 4 first half free throws. We're getting out shot and out rebounded.

Fought back from 17 down. Missed too many shots around the rim, especially Lewis. We were good from the line until the end. Let’s take it out on UTA Saturday.

Heck of a game. Particularly the second half. We really need to get DG off sooner... but what a second half from him. He is such a tough match up for either a big or guard. Played much better D in the second half. This was a winnable game for sure. Go get 'um Saturday.
