It was all but confirmed months ago but Brian Okam is now officially on the transfer market. He has graduated with his bachelors degree (and a high GPA to boot) so he can go anywhere and play one more year with sitting out.

He's also being inducted into the free throw hall of fame.

Should we retire his jersey?

This is going to be an interesting time for JC and the team with Okam leaving, the Graham fiasco still going on and with today (Wednesday) being the end of the spring signing period and I haven't seen anything about us picking up anyone even though we had offered some more players. Maybe we'll hear something tomorrow but I haven't seen a single twitter post today about anyone committing. Can't wait to see how this plays out.

So what was the final story with Graham? I saw it reported he had requested a release, but I never saw anything else about it.

Even if Okam had returned, he would have been a 5th option at post at best, without counting incommings.
Like Boxler, when we get 7 footers there is generally a reason for it.

Justin Byerly (whoever he is) just tweeted this:

"2013 PG Devonte Graham of Broughton HS (NC) will take a visit to Brewster Academy his coach says."

Not sure if that means he's going to take another year of HS ball to get out of his LOI...
