Cool to see! I've got faith that the defense will show up, that's been a constant strength with Kerns (and particularly players like Gregory), but the big wildcard will be offensive efficiency. Possessions are just so critical in his system that if we come away with a few more FT shots + couple fewer TOs this team will be 20+ wins easy. I don't think we necessarily need a breakout season for Abson, but I fully anticipate he has a monster season too.

The new guys are fitting in and making a difference in practice and preparation according to one of the veterans I talked to .Couldn't say enough about Tate , Hayes and Spiller .Marsh has been impressive , fastest man on the floor.Expectations are high.

Defense will be there but honestly if Kerns doesn’t inject some kind of offensive change I feel it will be more of the same. It’s very nice to receive the preseason love we’re getting.

Last night was more of a scrimmage , sloppy at times but with flashes .Really learned little but saw Marsh,Hayes and Spiller for the first time , Tate since Butler.Staff says Hayes is further along than anticipated.Looking to redshirt Wilson and Strouthers .Only negatives were FT % and missing around the rim .We have work to do but the pieces seem to be there.

Looking to redshirt 2 freshman and play the season with only 10 scholarship players? I didn’t think that happened much in college basketball like it does in football. Any injuries would leave a pretty thin bench.

We have 11 we are confident in playing .Strong 10 man rotation .Certainly they are there if needed .

10 man would be deepest ever for Kerns, weve been in the 7-8 man depth during his tenure so far

Sunbelt had an abysmal start to the MAC tipoff. Hopefully App can help a bit so the conference RPI isn't toast right off the bat.

Saw Troy went ti double OT but fell to ORSt by 1. They were up 2 late but I was just browsing the espn app and not watching.

kenpom is pretty good for analytics, but 31-0 or even 30-1 would be crazy to see happen

It hasn't taken long for App fans and our green eyes to emerge. I seriously doubt that the kenpom predictors hold but its not like they have any games left that they can't win.
