If there is an all-defense team, I hope Xavion Brown gets some consideration, despite his limited minutes.

Re: SB BB Coach of the Year
There was not last year. They did a 1st, 2nd, and 3rd team all-conference along with POY, DEF POY, Newcomer of Year, FOY, 6th man of year, and coach of the year.

Re: SB BB Coach of the Year
No question our 6th MOY would be Myles Tate. He has come off the bench for 23 of our 29 games to date. I have no idea where he fits in the scheme of things conference wide, but we would not be sitting in first place if he were not on this team.

Re: SB BB Coach of the Year
Abson gets a lot of attention, and for good reason. But I see Tate as being equally impactful because of the way he pulls everything together. Consummate team player and floor general.hapapp wrote: ↑Tue Feb 27, 2024 2:36 pmNo question our 6th MOY would be Myles Tate. He has come off the bench for 23 of our 29 games to date. While we’re on the subject of Xavion Brown, count me among those who would like to see him give our football team a go. He doesn’t shoot well enough to be an NBA prospect. But the NFL might be different.

I would have to think he was nominated. He has certainly been a huge factor for us.hapapp wrote: ↑Tue Feb 27, 2024 2:36 pmNo question our 6th MOY would be Myles Tate. I had been thinking the same thing. He has the tools to do it.

Re: SB BB Coach of the Year
I’d love to see him at wideout. Kerns says Xavion’s vertical is one of the tops in the country all time, a claim I don’t doubt.

Re: SB BB Coach of the Year
Xavion said he played safety…. 6’3 190…. and crazy athletic. Kerns said at the NBA combine, Xavion would have the third highest vertical of all time.

I'd like to see him at safety, ball hawk and I bet can lay the wood too!
