Let’s hope NCDOT keeps the roads nice & salty in anticipation of possible freezing rain later in the day.

This one is hard to figure out. Neither team is playing for seeding and they might face each other again in 9 days. I guess it’s just a roll the ball out and play game.

Tempo of this game will mean quite a bit. Will be interesting to see our lineup to defend the 3 or keep pace with them.

This is senior night. Who is getting recognized, Gregory and Greene for sure. Huntley? If it is just those two (or three) we have a ton coming back next season. Of course, keeping Kerns is essential.

I am always a believer that you beat a team as much as you can anytime you play them...even if we potentially play them again. Gives us more confidence and doubt in opposition mind even if they sit people.
If this team does shoot well from 3...this may be another game we use a smaller lineup after the first couple of rotations if they are hitting them..

Huntley has another year of eligibility and we need him back. He’s been very clutch when paired with Abson/Spillers and has stepped up when the game doesn’t feature Abson style of play.

Huntley has been one of my all time favorites. Great kid, great player, great size, brought his sister here. Hope he comes back for one more.

If he comes back that is huge especially with the big we have stored on the bench. Does the redshirt rule apply in basketball as it does in football? I.E. can a guy play in X number of games and save the year?

I hope. I've been following all week...my understanding is the freezing rain/snow is supposed to happen in the morning/early afternoon...but is supposed to be warmer and just be regular rain in later afternoon. Guess I'll see when I get up there. If you see me stranded on the side of the road, stop and pick me up lol

I believe so. Hayes should be able to RS. And we have Wilson RS as well. And the PF Freshman coming in from Covenant Day. If we can hold onto Abson Spillers and Huntley, along with those 3 joining the lineup...whew. That is some SIZE.

I think I read it's the same 4 game rule. Looks like Hayes has played in 8 so far. Sounds like either you pretty much sit the year or burn a season with garbage time.

Bummer, we still have him for 3 years! He's going to be a good one.

Let’s win this thing outright and share nothing with the dukes. I’ll be there early, ice or no ice. Take the stairs.

I'm not keen on sharing championships. If App wins tonight I wonder if there will be a large group therapy session on the Dukes' message board. Three losses all year and no regular season championship.

App should threaten a lawsuit since we beat them twice. The Dook's seem to be open to threatening lawsuits.😂😂
Not going to matter..we win tonight

Sharing a title is like that old saying- like kissing your sister. It's nice but doesn't mean anything special.

And by all means don't hang a banner. If I remember we shared a SOCON football title or two and that was a letdown.

THIS is why keeping Kerns is absolutely essential.
