Kedrick Flomo

Firemoose posted this in the recruiting thread, but Kedrick Flomo committed to App earlier today per Evan Daniels.

Kedrick Flomo committed to be an Appalachian State today.

He looks pretty good (see link below). Has goods vision and set the all time assist record at his high school and he's only a junior. He marks App's first commit for 2014. Depending on where you look, he's a 2 or 3 star recruit.

Kedrick coming in give App yet another PG. Depending on who you view as a point guard and who you think will be getting PT by the time Flomo arrives, he'll be competing for time with Mike Neal, Ty Toney, Chris Burgess and Frank Eaves.

Either way, exciting new recruit for Capel and the first for 2014. Check out his highlight link below.

Apologize for not spelling Kedrick's name correctly.

By my count, Flomo's our first and only scholarship recruit for 2014 unless Capel hands out some pink slips after this season. We have only one senior (Tevin Baskin). If Capel's gonna be around for '14 and play an 18 game Sunbelt schedule, he'd better find some more height and muscle...and in a hurry.
Proud triple-degree App grad--Classes of '66, '70 and '81.
If it happens to the Apps, it happens to me!

Considering Capel going into his last year of his contract, I think he needs to concentrate on winning at least 20 games this year more than anything.

I believe ASU has one more scholarship available. I only noticed 12 scholarship players on our upcoming season roster including Lawson. With that said, we probably added a couple marginal players in the 2012 class which could cost us later when not enough spots are available.

This time I think I will curb my enthusiasm until I see him in an App uniform. Some of these kids change their minds more often than their underwear.
