If he’s not going to be starter, I’d be surprised if he sticks around. And at the moment, we don’t have a better option at PG.

Clark looked promising before getting injured.

As stated above, I think Dodd is a "come off the bench" guy. My sentiments about last year's team was that if we had an above league average to really good SBC level PG, we would have won the conference and conference tourney. Just my opinion. Nothing against the kid. Im

My comment was regarding Clark and not Dodd. Clark looked good and there was some hope that he could be the guy that could take some of the ball handling responsibilities off Tate. Then he got hurt in December and didn’t play again.

Does Jalil Beaubrun have an extra year of eligibility? Tate possibly too with the redshirt?

Based off the latest App Men’s Bball account post, we retained 5 guys for now.

Marcus Jr.
Wilson
Dodd
Njock
Clarke Jr.

3 incoming freshman.

Leaves a few open slots for portal/JUCO/HS.
Going to need some scoring and shooting.

Looking to bring in at least five , maybe more , based on interest. As of now we have only lost one who we would have given another year but he was looking at a diminished role and decided to move on.

Is Tate still exploring an extra year of eligibility?

He hasn’t come up in conversation regarding next season. My assumption is no but that’s only an assumption.

F Neal

Transfers we have:
CG Kasen Jennings
CG Eren Banks
PF Chad Moodie
PG KJ Vasser

Is there speculation on adding or losing anyone else?

I think we have some solid potential with what we have. Excited about Banks, and I think Jacari Brim is gonna be a baddie

That's 12 scholarships. Should be full. Or are 13 scholarships allowed?
Anyway, I like portal adds...3 from Atlanta. And the portal adds all have experience but also have years of eligibility left, not just 1 and dones.

Excited to see how Moodie pairs with Wilson/Marcus Jr and where Njock slots in.
Plenty of capable guards on the roster, if Vasser's game translates to D1 we should be in good shape on paper.

I'll take a stab at a starting 5.

PG- Vasser
SG- Banks
SF- Njock (if he's not ready, maybe Jennings)
PF- Moodie
C- Wilson
