WBB Recruiting, 2014

From Twitter SG/PG Katelyn Doub (5' 9") of Southwestern Randolph High School in Asheboro, NC signed a LOI to App today. I don't believe we have a Lady Apps recruiting thread started so this is it. Information on these players is a bit harder to find but I'll add it to the list and see what I can dig up. The only page I've found so far is her MaxPreps Jr season profile. No video just stats. I'll look some more and see if I can add anything to this.

I would say its a good idea to keep an eye on Kaila Craven from the same school. She is a 5'8 guard in the 2015 class, but has already scored 908 points and has only played two years of varsity ball. 17.5 ppg, 3.9 assts, 3.4 steals

Jordan Muhammad from Ardrey Kell is another 2015 guard. 8ppg, 4.2 rpg, 2.8 steals

Te'Erica Eason is another 2015 from The Lovett School in Atlanta that might also be on the radar. Another 5'8 guard, but seems to be a good all around player. Typical DV recruit.
8.7 ppg, 3.2 assts, 4.3 rpg, 2.5 steals

From internet reports PG/SG Madi Story (6' 0" 130) of Bandy High School in Catawba, NC. I have attached he MaxPreps and beRecruited.com profiles below. Her mother (Mitzi Yount Story) played at App from 1988-1992 and one of her prep coaches was former App player Beth Laney Queen (1985-1988). I found a picture of her signing yesterday at the same time as the other signee above but no name, just a Bandy's banner in the background. I figured a story would pop up soon enough.

Yep...after finding her name I did a search and found the story where she committed on Jan 16th. Love it when anyone truly wants to come here. A certain men's recruit should take a lesson from her in commitment.

I'm going to start a 2015 WBB recruiting thread but wanted to let everyone know that Kaila Craven committed to App today and to give a shout out to BigC for the heads up. She averaged 24.9 PPG, 4.3 assts, 4.4 steals, and 2.9 rebs last season. Good pickup for the Lady Apps!!!
