They closed it to 2 and then just blew up in the last 2 minutes. 71-63 WCU. Bad loss. Coach Vincent is very upset right now. About to bite her tongue off trying not to say anything.

From observing this team in person twice thus far, I believe these kinds of performances are going to be the norm. While there is talent on this squad, it is very undisciplined and inexperienced at this point in time. They may improve as the season progresses but we are a far cry from the teams of the last several years. This squad is going to require some coaching/teaching from Darcie.

Two looong seasons for the price of one.

The good is that Keke Cooper had a breakout game. She is going to be very good by the time she graduates. Can pull down rebounds, dribble when needed, passes well and can finish.

One area this team lacks is a perimiter threat. Katie Mallow could be, but she didn't play as much tonight. As good as Maryah Sydnor seems to be, she's really one-dimensional when it comes down to it. There's still a lot of experimentation going on with this team with 10-11 players regularly coming in and out.
