Down 18 in the first, has this team given up?

Canty was suspended for 9 games. He is eligible to return Wednesday against Presbyterian as far as I know.asutrnr81 wrote:So the first semester is officially over.....and there was no sighting of Canty....does it mean he will not play?
Grades didn't have to be posted until today. So, probably no way of knowing if his GPA has recovered until today... which is probably why the academic part of the suspension covered through yesterday's game.asutrnr81 wrote:So the first semester is officially over.....and there was no sighting of Canty....does it mean he will not play?
Athletes are required to have progress reports filled out periodically. Unless he tanked his finals, the team should have had an idea of his performance by the middle of the semester.skjellyfetti wrote:Grades didn't have to be posted until today. Sadly, ASU fans (alumni and students) do not support basketball and have had little support for the program since I've followed in the early 80's. Our home attendance support has been atrocious for a long time. Until we improve our home schedule (including the set up occasional home games with the likes of Nebraska, Georgia, Ga Tech, etc. as in previous years) and have a coach who can inject some excitement into the program, then we won't deserve better than home and homes with the likes of Campbell, High Point, and Presbyterian. Thank goodness that the Sunbelt only allows one D-2 game. A resurrection is needed and it includes the coaching level and our fan support.asu66 wrote:Presbyterian? Are you kidding me? Why would we even agree to playing them on their home court? Just more "humble pie" to choke down.
