Going with who is on the website and the commits that we have now, here is the makeup of the team:
PG
Burgess(PG), Jackson
PG/SG
Neal(SG), Babic
SG/SF
Hamliton(SF), Clark, Eaves, Purgason
SF/PF
Obacha(PF), Kinney, Spagnolo*
PF/C
Gilbert, Koboni, Lawson, Kostic
Bold Starters
* Tommy would start a C/PF if cleared, wide open if he is not.

Nice breakdown!
I'd wager Lawson is a starter down low with or without Tommy. Just a guess. My bold prediction is that Frank Eaves starts over Neal.

It depends on Fox's ability to develop people. Obacha has a wealth of talent that the previous staff could not advance. Tommy, if back, will be the team leader so he will start. Lawson could be 1st off at this point.
Neal, has had his share of issues, but when his head has seen daylight has been one of our better players. I would say that it is Neal's to start with, but if he slows down and is not taking care of his business then Eaves will be "on his left". (Bonus points if u get reference.

Have to say the freshmen are the big unknown right now. Obviously less experienced than the returnees, but they are the only guys on the roster recruited by Fox to play in his system. Might be an advantage to have fewer bad habits to break.

Viewed that way it doesn't look so dismal. I guarantee Fox will get A LOT more out of the returning players than Capel ever did.

You think Jackson could end up getting some legit playing time?
The last pure PG we had before Burgess was DJ. Sims and Neal were mainly SG that could play point.
Given Davidson's system, I believe that Fox will want some Points that can direct the offense and get their shots in the system. If Jackson can get a hold of the system, he could get good time backing up Chris that will allow Neal to focus on the 2 spot and allow us to be more aggressive while allowing us to still have ball control.
