In the other half of tonight's double header, the RPI #135 ASU women (10-9, 5-5) will try to sweep the RPI #168 Cajuns (14-6, 6-5) and leap-frog them into sole possession of fifth place in the SunBelt. The Apps took the first game, played at HCC, by a 63-51 margin. Despite the difference in RPI ratings and the previous game's outcome, our ladies are still slight underdogs in this contest.
The outcome may come down to Maryah Sydnor's availability to play tonight and how well she's able to play after suffering an upper body injury late last month.
UL-L has a better record; the Apps have played a tougher schedule. With Sydnor in form, this could be a nail-biter. Without Sydnor, it'll be a high mountain to climb.

With 11:34 to play, our Lady Apps lead the Cajuns 47-36. Roll on, ladies!
11:34 UL-L time out
The Cajuns will put a run together. The Apps need to weather the storm.

3:54 Sydnor checks in.
Was a mistake on the live stats that Sydnor checked in. I am worried that we have already seen her last game in the black and gold.

The team is definitely missing her 18 points and 9 rebounds a game.

It would be a sad ending to an outstanding playing career if she's unable to return. She'll be remembered as one of ASU's best. She already has HOF stats.

No doubt she has been a very good one for the Mountaineers. I hope she can return soon.
