What is, a great album by Fleetwood Mac?
I'll take what do you mean for $400 please, Alex.

Capel is not getting fired. To borrow from the WWE, at the end of the season we will be wishing him the best in his future endeavors.AppHoops wrote:appst89 wrote:AppHoops wrote:Rumors...

Hearing from a few sources that one of Capel's commits will not come to App if Capel is indeed fired at season's end (likely). I don't want to delve in too much until I know a little more.
If he is so in dedicated to Jason being his coach, I have questions as to if he has been paying attention to the past 3 years.huskie3 wrote:I hope he waits until end of season to sign LOI, easier for him and us.

I figured it was coming but until they are released I'm going to leave both on the Main Page. Still hope the new coach is a good salesman in addition to being a good coach. Just more work to do if we lose our only two commits for next year also.AppHoops wrote:Flomo's camp said that he'd seek release if Capel was gone back in January. I'm sure that'll be official soon.
Very True. The hole just gets deeper if we lose Worrell and Flomo also. We're going to need a lot to fill in the hole. I'm just hoping we fill it in with concrete instead of dirt. Concrete is a foundation, which is what we need.T-Dog wrote:It's a tough situation for sure. If you release Worrell and/or Flomo, then you have to release Graham as well.
I won't be expecting a decision until after the Final Four, but in the fast-paced world of college athletics, this is one reason you might want to get someone sooner rather than later.
Why bother to commit? He knew Capel was soon to be gone. If you were only committing because you like a coach, that's dumb. You need to like the school first.AppHoops wrote:Flomo's camp said that he'd seek release if Capel was gone back in January. I'm sure that'll be official soon.
For most kids the reason they commit is the relationship they develop with the coaches. The school is usually secondary. It is not unusual for kids to ask for a release when the guy they recruited is let go. The first thing a kid says upon his decision to commit is that he had a good relationship with the coaching staff.BUTCH1991 wrote:Why bother to commit? He knew Capel was soon to be gone.
