The Roanoke Times reports that UNCA star Andrew Rowsey, who has announced he is leaving Asheville, is shopping around and will likely visit Coach Fox.

The kid can score no doubt about it. He has averaged over 20 pts/game during his two seasons at UNCA. The only drawback is his height. At 5'10 he is awfully short for a SG, but it looks like he was able to score just well against the top teams on their schedule. He had between 24-30 points against Wake, ECU, S. Carolina, and Charlotte.

Would love to have him, but seems unlikely given that the UNCA coach said he was transferring because he wanted to play at a bigger school that could compete nationally.

I think we will atleast get a look since Fox has a reputation of developing guards, as far as him playing at nationally ranked schools, I don't know.....because of his size tough to see someone like a Carolina or Kansas giving him a shot, but I could see him at maybe Georgia Tech, Wake, or Clemson.

Sounds like that's about the level he's getting interest from. I found an article that said he's been in contact with Cincinnati, State, South Carolina and Marquette among others.

Not likely to go to a Final Four with any of those, but if he wants to play high-major competition, they would fit the bill.

He canceled his trip to State as they signed someone else.

I thought she looked pretty tough. Somebody I wouldn't want to tangle with. The periodical cover says she is a blonde. Looking at her roots, she definitely is a brunette. But, whatever.
