Re: MBB Sked Released
Another piss poor home schedule. And people wonder why student attendance sucks. If you want a decent turn out, have a big name or two come to town. These kids grew up in North Carolina aka ACC ville and you expect them to come to the HCC to watch a D2 school and the SoCon schedule. Anyone remember when Curry came to town with Davidson? Heck,we even packed the place when we beat UNCC a few years ago.
Get the Tar hole nepotism out so we can start winning and start getting a big name or two on the home schedule. That is how you develop support for App basketball.

Lets throw him out, lets throw the bum out that hired him, lets throw the bums out that REALLY hired him and the last coach and ran the one before that out of town.
Someone on facebook called this the "Jason Capel Farewell tour" - We should be so lucky.
*Note: I ain't feeling well and am extra grouchy today. I reserve the right to revise and extend my thoughts when the drugs take effect and the taste of this "schedule" is out of my mouth.

Re: MBB Sked Released
That's a really disappointing home schedule. We are all hopeful for a turnaround in the fortunes of the basketball program and for increased support at home. This schedule is not going to help in getting people to come to HCC.
Re: MBB Sked Released
There has to be a way to get a better home schedule. Isn't there some way we could do like a 2 for 1 in basketball. Heck even a 3-1. I'm sure the baby blue won't be making a return trip to the HCC but maybe we could get State, Wake, Tenn, Virginia, VT etc. to come to Boone for a game. Given the financial problems we have in North Carolina, it seems like the state schools should schedule one another. Oh well. It's going to be a tough to win over the ASU(football) ACC Team(basketball) fans.
