Apps fall to the Pirates, 82-61.

Eaves finds his shooting touch but the rest of the team struggles. Hampton dominated the boards 49-35.

I have faith we'll see improvement from these guys. That's a faith I Didn't have two years ago.

We were in Hampton earlier this week (for a funeral) - There is a big electronic billboard off I-64 near HU and it was advertising this game - instead of just showing the Pirates logo they also had the Big A logo with Appalachian State - you could see the A beaming in black, white and yellow for a long distance - people recognize the Big A logo ---

4 assists (one each from 4 different players) for the entire game? Wow. That doesn't sound like a Jim Fox offense. Lots to build on. We didn't look good at the beginning of last year either (20 point loss to Furman), then beat VT shortly after. I'm just concerned about the lack of offensive and defensive production in the post from this team. Hopefully one of our big guys will step up.
