This belongs in two folders but decided to post here rather than Other Schools. 1977 alum and former Lady App basketball player won her 500th game this past week as coach of the Nevada Wolfpack. Jane played for Dr. Judy Clarke and was a classmate. Congratulations, Jane!!

Jane's had a good career and enjoys a really fine reputation around the NCAA. Wish we could have brought her back home before DVincent, but her salary was just too out of line with our football staff.

Albright, who is 103-136 in eight seasons with the Wolf Pack, has posted a 500-448 record in 32 Division-I seasons with Northern Illinois (1984-94), Wisconsin (1994-2003), Wichita State (2003-08) and Nevada (2008-present).

Since becoming a head coach in 1984, Albright has made nine NCAA Tournament appearances, has been named the conference coach of the year four times, led Wisconsin to the 2000 WNIT championship and is the winning coach in the history of Northern Illinois and Wisconsin. She began this season 30th among active D-I women’s basketball coaches in victories.
