RPI #238 ASU 6-14 (4-5 Sun Belt) is in Mobile, AL tonight to take on RPI # 228 S.Bama at 8PM ET in the Jags' 10,000 seat Mitchell Arena.

By the numbers, RTRPI has the Apps as nine (9) point u-dawgs. Can't say that I agree with that, but Jim Fox's team remains a turnover machine still playing on the road. On a happier note, the Apps are no longer playing to stay out of the cellar. In fact, with a win tonight and a little help from conference mates, the Apps could be in a two-way tie for fifth.

I like that as a plan. Go Apps!

Good guys up on South Alabama 30-25 at the break. Sounds like they're playing pretty well.

The ladies took one on the chin, however, losing 71-55.

Only shooting 32 percent from the field, but So Alabama isn't fairing much better. Only two TOs so far, though.

South has come out hot to start the second. 35-32 bad guys at the under 16.

39-32...We have 2 points 7 minutes.

Long way from over but this is poor from us.

Now 18-2 run for USA.

2-19 from 3...only 5 TOs but doesn't matter when you shoot like we are tonight.

This was the stretch of games that would have allowed us to move up in the standings. We played three games this week against teams below us in the standings. If we lose tonight, we will have gone 1-2 in those games.

50-38 at the under 8. As poorly as we are shooting, the game is still in reach. Al be it barely.

56-40. They're heating up.

Eaves has to shoot his way through his woes. That's what shooters do.

This one is over. With a win we would have been a game out of third. Instead with Ga Southern's win v. ASU, we will be tied for 7th with them and USA. Still only be 2 games out of third, but we need to win these games.

61-49 at the under 4. Two straight threes get us back into it. Kind of.

Burgess found his shot tonight unfortunately he was by himself.

Never in my wildest dreams did I think we would lose if we had less than 10 turnovers.

Yeah. The interior stats look decent, considering that when you shoot that badly, you're going to lose rebounds.

We won't win any game where Eaves goes 1/15, but that wasn't the sole reason we lost.
