The AppState women play at 1 PM today hoping to improve on their record and set the stage for moving up in the conference standings before their appearance in the Sun Belt tourney in NOLA. A win today over Troy will break a three game losing streak and help them move toward that goal.

In an earlier game played at Troy, the Apps put up 96 points and won going away.

Today's a different day. Troy RPI #188 10-12 (7-8 Sun Belt) comes in favored over our RPI #266 Apps 8-16 (5-10 Sun Belt) by four (4).

Fought back from 22 down to have the shot to win the game at the end of regulation. I bet Angel wishes she could draw up another play. She had Craven throw a lob down low, but it the defense was all over it and the shot never got off. Then in OT, Troy ran out and never looked back.

Despite the skid, the ladies are still in 8th place as both GSU's lost as well. The Georgia trip this week is now must-wins, especially with Little Rock and stAte in the final week.
