Big win over ARL tonight

Appalachian basketball turned the corner tonight, with a hard fought win. Just wish we were going to NOLA & see how far we could go with a little confidence & momentum.

Hope is not lost. We can still make the tournament. Need a win Saturday and a Texas State loss.

If we beat A State on Saturday, then USA is in before they even play TxState Saturday night. Will they have less to play for? Will they play with less motivation? Or will they play under less pressure? Of course, none of this matters if we don't win.

Will they even know our result because they will be warming up for their own game? Bet USA's coach prepares to win as that is the only way they know they can definitely get in the tournament.

Not likely to matter but my guess someone will keep track of our game. Whether their staff passes that on is anybody's guess. Given we start two hours before they do, they will likely start before we finish.
