With a stout defensive game and a conference-leading 12 game winning streak, the RPI #109 UA-Little Rock Trojans invade HCC this afternoon to face the RPI #261 Lady Apps. The tipoff is set for 5:00 PM. UA-LIttle Rock (17-11, 15-4 SBC), one of the hottest teams in all of women's collegiate basketball, is coming off of a 71-69 win over the league leading A-State Red Wolves. The Red Wolves, BTW, are on the way to The High Country to face the Apps on Saturday.

This afternoon's game, along with the match against the league leaders from Arkansas State on Saturday, will decide ASU's battle for a seeding in the Sun Belt Tourney in NOLA. The Apps (10-17, 7-11 SBC) are in a three-team struggle with Texas State and Georgia State for the seventh and eighth seeds in the tourney.

The ASU women have a lot riding on their performance in these next two games. But, first things first. UA-Little Rock stands between the Apps and a tourney invite. Gotta take care of business, Apps!

App was hindered by a really slow started. We battled to close the gap to 3, but could not get all the way over the hump. Still, ladies showed great fighting heading into post-season.
