Received the usual, slacks for work, etc. However, my "big day" will be January 12th for the 43rd Annual Rattlesnake Feed in Moorefield, WV (see above article). My buddies and I are taking a van up this year, with designated driver of course. After the Event ends (around 6pm), then we hit a bar near Cumberland, MD, then followed by our yearly visit to the VFW in Cumberland, and finally crash at Dave's place around 4am. Always look forward to this day. yeeeee yeeeee
The author of the above article must have been talking about my pals and I with this quote:
"That $20 donation earned these men the right to partake in as much beer (domestic beer, like the trucks) as possible, and the majority of them took that right seriously."
The Band that plays every year, aka Half Lit, see below:

Not too much. Little cash, frame for my signed JM Homecoming program, and a shadowbox for my procombat jersey.
Then I made sure I'm in debt all of 2013 with an AR-15 for myself.

Re: What did you get for Christmas?
Nothing that had to be wrapped up (or that could have been) ... peaceful day, warm house, good food, laughter, homemade cookies, wonderful Christmas Eve and Christmas Day worship services, and a healthy family ... more than I could have ever hoped for.
If serving is beneath you, then leading is beyond you.

Re: What did you get for Christmas?
Every year for Christmas I give five season tickets to ASU football games. Save the sixth seat for myself. My presents are always received with much thanks, appreciation, hugs and kisses (some hand shakes) and I do not have to set foot in a mall. This Santa is not stupid. I know what my kids really want and it makes for lots of great family events in the fall.

We don't slide at Appalachian State. It's a sign of weakness.
