Alex Trebek, husband to wife Jean (30 years); father of Nicky, Matthew and Emily; humanitarian; entertainer; game show host; actor; Mensa International member; and by his own definition "just a regular guy," lost his courageous battle with pancreatic cancer in the wee hours of this morning in Los Angeles. He was 80 and still visited millions of American living rooms every day. Due to his severe illness, Trebek pushed himself to "bank" enough original programming to last several months. He will continue to be seen hosting HD Jeopardy video through Christmas Day (December 25th) after which holiday specials and college football bowl games will kick in to finish out a grim calendar year 2020.

Man, would this world ever be a better place if there were thousands more Alex Trebeks out here--more men with a rich mix of character, family values, strong work ethic, intelligence and mentor/leader qualities! RIP, Alex.

We lost a good one, I have never heard anyone say anything bad about the man. In this day and age that's saying something.
