We've had plenty of talks on here about the fees, nickel and diming that come with college. I wonder if we could have some programs like this at the hickory branch. It could be a boon for us.

We are in need of someone to take over the maintenance of the MMB. Yosef has done it for a long time, and we are grateful for all he has done, but life happens and he no longer has the time to devote to its upkeep. If anyone here is interested in helping to keep the board running, please let me know via DM.

Read that article earlier today as well. Definitely Interesting. The day of the liberal arts process of finding yourself and what you want to do for your future have definitely changed. Many kids are having to declare for their major prior to entering as a freshman. Even more are already coming with credits in hand from dual enrollment at the high school level. Something like this could certainly have value. I don't claim to be an expert, just a Dad with a senior in high school learning the game. College definitely shouldn't cost what it does.appdaze wrote: ↑Fri Jul 21, 2023 10:56 amWe've had plenty of talks on here about the fees, nickel and diming that come with college.
