That one is wild. First I’d heard of the illness today and apparently the issues just 11 days ago after the race.

Calling the doctor to his trailer after the race. Sudden death like this. Its going to be a sad story when it all comes to light.

Kyle’s win in the Appalachian car is running during the rain delay on the CW.

Re: The J Cline Memorial Celebrity Obituaries
Crazy that a 41 year old would die of pneumonia to sepsis. It is especially strange when you realize that he was a highly successful athlete with access to the best doctors around. How does he catch pneumonia that goes undiagnosed, untreated and festers until it turns sepsis and things are too late? This isn't some backwoods Georgia Southern alum living in a double wide and bathing in Eagle Creek. No way his illness should have ever progressed that far. This was a completely treatable issue had it been diagnosed appropriately. What a tragedy.BambooRdApp wrote: ↑Sat May 23, 2026 4:03 pmNASCAR driver Kyle Busch died from severe pneumonia that progressed into sepsis, according to a statement provided by the Busch family.

Re: The J Cline Memorial Celebrity Obituaries
I'm sure there were a number of points where it might have been preventable, but you also have to think about other factors. 1. He was most likely hard-headed ("Everything is fine, it's just a cold"). 2. These guys are on the go and don't get enough rest, so things can hit fast. 3. These crews have medical teams, but we aren't talking about football, basketball, etc that have armies of team doctors and personal doctors watching the players 24/7. So I doubt it's all as simple as it sounds.

It’s a tragedy, same thing that killed Jim Henson (creator of the Muppets)t4pizza wrote: ↑Sat May 23, 2026 10:52 pmCrazy that a 41 year old would die of pneumonia to sepsis. We don't slide at Appalachian State. It's a sign of weakness.

He married a gal from “Henson Hollar” (Vilas/sugar Grove). Had recently completed a home there on Old 421, very near where she grew up.AppinVA wrote: ↑Fri May 29, 2026 10:08 amHe brought the Stanley Cup to Boone on his day with the Cup back in the 1990s.PoplarHillApp wrote: ↑Fri May 29, 2026 8:20 amClaude Lemieux. 4x Stanley Cup winner.
