MLB Tragedy: RIP Miami Marlin Jose Fernandez

From today's MIAMI HERALD...

Miami Marlins pitcher Jose Fernandez was killed in a boating accident early Sunday morning, according to reports. The 24-year-old rising star died along with two others in the accident off the coast of Miami Beach, CBS Miami reported, adding that the boat crashed into rocks and was found upside down when rescue officials arrived.

Just read this. My boys are shocked and dumbfounded. The accident happened at 3 am. Thu whole thing was not a good choice made by anyone on that boat. Nothing good happens after midnight.........

Oh wow. That is terrible. He was slated to start today against the Braves opposite of Teheran. Was looking forward to watching the two go at it. Truly Shocked!

Just saw the game between the Marlins and Braves has been rightfully cancelled.

That's a too often proven fact of life. Young folks just don't get it. They believe their youth,their overall good health, their personal strength, their lawyers and Lady Luck will hold them harmless. Sadly, not so much! :cry:
