Been there, done that...twice. It sucks to know you've done your job very well and through no fault of your own find yourself pushed out the door. I feel for all these people. Interesting to see what new "model" ESPN comes up with. I mean, how do you run a 24- hour TV sports network without the talent?

Probably more talk show type stuff, less actual reporting. They didn't cut many really high-profile faces. Mostly reporters (web and TV). Got rid of people that do actually sports reporting and articles, kept the social justice warriors though. ESPN is to sports what MTV became to music.

Not for the sake of individuals as I hate to see people lose jobs. For the sake of ESPN? they can shut down for all I care.
