Roger Moore, whose 12-year run as James Bond in the ’70s/’80s turned him into a Hollywood icon, has died. He was 89.
Moore’s family confirmed on social media early Tuesday that the veteran actor died after a “short but brave battle with cancer.”

I would have to make it a toss up between him and Sean Connery. They both could save the world equally well while never ruining a fine tuxedo.bcoach wrote:The ONLY James Bond
We don't slide at Appalachian State. It's a sign of weakness.

Roger Moore was definitely the smoothest. No one could deliver the one liners like him

Ok Ok I have put more thought to this. Connery was pretty cool. Could you accept a tie? Now I will not give an inch on this one. SHE was the ultimate bond girl.WVAPPeer wrote:Anybody who grew up with Sean Connery as James Bond (60s) and considers Roger Moore better I am worried about you - The absolute coolest guy ever!!! - Oh, and when Ursula Andress came out of the water in that white bikini - WOW !!!

Plus, Roger Moore saying "Welcome to the Rock" on our video board just wouldn't have the same impact.
