One man's trash is another's taco. I wonder how "moral" Mr. Knight is. Just saying.

I was going to say. It is not, imo, a well written article. Sounds like he has an axe to grind.

To be clear, it's a letter to the editor.

Reminds me of the old lady in Boone who complained about Black Saturday being satanic back in the 80's. I can't believe our admin back then gave into her.
When will "It's better than what we had" no longer be good enough for App State?

Most Watauga County residents outside the limits of Boone and Blowing Rock are Mike Knight.

If you've ever been to Five Points, you know how bad Columbia can be as far as debauchery and violence goes. I remember a young girl catching a stray bullet and dying a few years ago.

In fairness, we should just agree that, outside of Greenville and Charleston, the entire state of SC is a third-world shit hole of violence and SIN. Run a recent news search on Myrtle.

I was going to take offense, but realized I am Mike Knight in many ways.

Driving through SC is quite literally the "Highway to Hell." They've got more potholes than they do college graduates.

Personally I've always felt like the state of SC would be better off as just one long strip of land on the east to encompass the grand strand, Charleston and Hilton Head and the whole middle section could be one huge lake. Of course that horrible section of boring ass I-95 would have to stay.

Thankfully, the girl did not die but she was paralyzed from the waist down. They are also raising the gas tax on 7/1 so maybe the roads will eventually get better.
