John Hartford is my favorite musician; so I'll listen to John's song "Gentle on my Mind"in memory.

I'm digging out my Beachboys CDs. Glenn filled in for Brian Wilson in '64-'65 while Wilson was recovering from a nervous breakdown. Glenn had the "look," the California tan, the blond hair, the muscular build and the vocal range to have been a permanent member of the group (and keep the girls screaming). During his relatively short Beachboys gig, he was prominently featured in "I Get Around" after it had been a smash hit on the Billboard Top 100 for weeks upon weeks.

What a talented musician. Could play guitar, mandolin, banjo and even the bag pipes.
