Yeah that's why I mentioned it. He was committed to us for months as a safety before flipping to GS to play WR, over the rather vehement objections of his mother IIRC. Hadn't really been heard from since - then again, he's a wide receiver for Georgia Southern, which is basically like being in witness protection. Had a couple nice plays late tonight though.

Re: The Stink and Arky St
On the plus side for GS, they had a decent run game, at least yardage-wise.
Re: The Stink and Arky St
This is what happens when you bring in a bunch of JUCO's and they leave and now you have young team who last year was running a pro style offense and now they are back trying to learn the triple option. This will be painful to watch for a few years. As much as I don't like them, I don't like seeing them in this state. This will take at least 2 years for them to fix and that's after they get rid of their coach. Great run game until you gain 60 yards and then throw an interception.

When was the last time anyone saw an FBS game with 9 turnovers? It wasn't raining, snowing, or freezing cold either. Ouch!

Watched the whole game. Just plain awful football. This wasn't a youth problem the announcers kept harping on, it is a woefully unprepared football team.

Like watching a train wreck, I couldn't turn away. Now it's burned in memory.

Anyone else notice that the GaSo message board seems to be offline this morning?

Apparently they are down, GS fans posting in the Sunbelt board today since theirs is down. About who to fire.DaphneUrquhart wrote: ↑Thu Oct 05, 2017 9:49 amAnyone else notice that the GaSo message board seems to be offline this morning?

Re: The Stink and Arky St
To be fair, I think we had this same "both teams look awful" discussion after last year's GS-stAte game, and we only turned out to be half-right then.

Re: The Stink and Arky St
Here's my prediction...GS will go 0 & 7 and then edge out Georgia State. I know UMass is on there but they're losing an awful lot of games by 1 score or less and put up 50 points against Ohio (and still lost!).

The natives are restless in Statesboro. I don't see how this coach makes it through the season.
