I'm sure it involves a bunch of technical mumbo jumbo, but why has the NCAA team ratings continuously have Texas State in dead last or near dead last in the overall FBS standings? (Currently 128 out of 130)
Yes, I know the quick answer is that they suck at 2-8 BUT....but why is Georgia Southern, Charlotte and Coastal still ahead of them when they are either 1-9 or (lol) 0-9?
Not that it's an improvement, but shouldn't they be up like six or so spots since they have more wins under their belts? Like I said, I know they're not a stellar team, but it seems that even when they win a game, they stay in the bottom 3 and it's been like that since the beginning of the season.

Re: Why does the NCAA keep Texas State Down in their Rankings?
Some of these rankings use opponents and opponents opponents in the stats. Basically not all loses are equal and winning against an FCS school is not going to help much since most all the FCS teams will be lower than 130 in combined FBS/FCS rankings for all of DI.
