Re: How much snow?
Two feet in Blowing Rock easily. Mt. Mitchel reported 34 inches. 14-28 inches depending where you are in Watauga County,
Main roads are fine right now. They'll ice over once the sun goes down.

Anyone know about the roads in the Wilkesboro area? My son has his last exam tomorrow at 11 and plans to travel home afterwards.

19-20 inches on average but drifts of well over 2 ft. Sun’s out so some melting going on.

Re: How much snow?
Hwy 421 was clear today in Wilkes. It got up into the mid 40s here today and we had a lot of snow melting. Temperatures are getting down around 19 overnight though, so there may be black ice from all of the snow melting and water running across the roads that freezes. The temp here is not supposed to get back above freezing until 10am Tuesday. Be careful.
Give Em Hell!!
