I love it when people with little to no knowledge on a topic speak with certainty after a single experience.

News flash...college kids drink, some do drugs, some have sex and some flunk out. These are the same broad brush accusations made about athletes. Does that mean every athlete does it? All teams? Every university? ...just stop it! Always & never should never be used!

I too was a Sig Ep at APP, having graduated several years prior to the chapter given the boot. I did not hear the urinating story, and view that to be a tall tale.

It is not a tall tale. I heard it directly from a friend who was in Sig Ep that had it happen to him. For what it’s worth, he was still a huge supporter of the fraternity and was crushed when he wasn’t allowed to be in it. The university said that he was hazed so badly that he would be more likely to haze others and therefore was unable to be a Greek. He was very upset about that, but not about being peed on, which I found hilarious.

Stockholm Syndrome at work.

Hazing sounds a lot like child abuse. It becomes generational.

What you've written supports my theory that you know little about Greek life. Even if the peeing incident occurred (which it didnt), that's not how panhellinic (the university) handles it.

Our Frat's pledge goat was pretty cool, she even sent me birthday cards for a few years. Sweet

4 students across the country died directly from Fraternity hazing in 2017 alone. Makes Sig Ep’s golden showers look tame by comparison, but IMO Greek life just exacerbates the mix of alcohol and hormones that already run rampant in college life. They’re redundant and unnecessary.
