Stan the Man was a good one. I grew up as a young boy listening to the Cardinals/Yankees series in 1964 and followed them for a good while. Da man could hit a baseball.
We don't slide at Appalachian State. It's a sign of weakness.

I followed the Dodgers and Cards. Musial was an humble, gentle "giant" of a player.
