Moderators or Members : email notifications

Unread post by NewApp » Thu Oct 03, 2019 6:42 am

I once had this message board to notify me by email whenever someone replied to my posts. Now I don't. How do I check to see if I have the correct email on file and get these notifications to it?

From Desktop at least.
Click on your name at the top right
Click User Control Panel
Click Profile tab
Then Edit Account Settings
That should show you the email you have.

Then the Board Preferences tab
Edit Posting Defaults
That will show you the radio buttons to select notifications if a reply is posted.

Someone post a test reply to this post so I can see if I did biggie’s instructions correctly. Please.

It won’t allow me to put in my correct current email address. It says it is already in use

Assume you have an old login with that email.

My notifications have started to go to my Junk folder. I didn’t set that up.

Maybe it is something with the board. I get emails for PMs, but those have been running slower than normal (like hours after the PM is sent to me).

Lol I just hated seeing all the replies in my email and having to end the conversation via twenty clicks. Bingo all of a sudden they went to spam which I’m happy!
