Guys, we have a TOUGH division schedule ahead of us! I thought ECU might have played GAST better, but I never imagined Coastal pummeling AState!

Coastal looked good against us last year too. I know the game had the lightning delay which may have played a factor, but that program is getting better each year. GaSt has been playing well too. Going to be a tough year in the asu belt. (Sunbelt auto corrected to asu belt so I’m going to leave it).appstate24 wrote: ↑Sat Oct 03, 2020 2:08 pmNo doubt Coastal and GaSt both looks good. Coastal and Cajuns have been the best teams in the conference so far. An argument could be made that Coastal has looked the best.
We got a fight on our hands this year.

Not only am I watching UNCC play, but Jay Walker is on the broadcast team. Double whammy.

ECU flat out sucks.
Wake destroyed Campbell.
The BIG12 is officially dead in the CFP.
BYU looks strong.
No App football is depressing.

Healy is a chump. Flexing at a defensive player after converting a 3rd down. Act like a head coach.

The beauty of being bad all the time is that you’re always “up and coming”.App_in_Maiden wrote: ↑Sat Oct 03, 2020 4:19 pmHealy is a chump. Flexing at a defensive player after converting a 3rd down. Act like a head coach.

Re: Weekend games thread for Oct 3
Charlotte's fan base, based on my experience, is very unusual.
They are in the same boat as UAB, UTSA, South Alabama, Georgia State, etc. In that they are a large commuter school who invested in football and spent alot of money and lobbied to bypass the lower levels quickly to move immediately to FBS.
What makes them unique is they truly believe they should be in a bigger conference and that they are within striking distance of bigger programs such us as.
I mean no disrespect but they aren't close and it is outrageous to expect to be. They have had 1 winning season at 7-6. Ambition is great but they will forever be miserable because their route is a tough one. UCF is the only team that took this route and succeeded, and they are a much larger institution in a much better place. I like Charlotte and don't mind playing them, but their fans...it seems...do not understand that they will be in the same general place for the next 30 years, and they may never catch the App States and ECUs of the world. Its hard to make up 80+ years, but CUSA is a good place for them to grow.
