Weekend games thread for Oct 3
What games are you watching while the Mountaineers have the weekend off? I'm excited to finally see some good SEC matchups, and maybe some Big 10 games as well.
Did anyone see that play that Campbell ran against Wake last night? Sure glad they did that to the Deacons and not us.

don't know, but South Carolina's covid restrictions are not as strict as North Carolina's.
eta...just checked, 5000 fans allowed in their stadium. Also was talking to my neighbor about the Chants last night, mentioned I might be going to the App game. He told me the last time we played at Coastal there were more App fans than the home team had.

Re: Weekend games thread for Oct 3
man ECU is looking terrible. They picked off a pass on the first play of the game and took it in the end zone.
By the end of the first quarter, Ga St. leads 21 to 7. Pirates fan board is a wreck.

I hate seeing ECU down so much. I've been looking forward to next years matchup with them since it was announced, but it looks like it's not going to be competitive unless they massively change things up.
Side note: someone tell Georgia State to only blow the train horn on touchdowns. Dear god. Every 3rd down on defense and every extra point is a bit excessive.

All the recent C-USA/Sun Belt move ups have really hurt the Pirates. I don’t think any other program has been impacted as much as ECU with a large majority of FBS newbies all being within roughly 6 hours from them.
Between ODU, UNCC, App, CCU, GS and GaSt, that’s 132 extra scholarship players they have to battle for in recruiting. ODU, UNCC and GaSt offer that metro/urban environment, CCU is by the beach and App offers the mountains. GS/Statesboro is really the only program that seems similar to ECU/Greenville.

Yes, it was beyond obnoxious last year. Other than that, I enjoyed the environmentArmantiWaterSafety wrote: ↑Sat Oct 03, 2020 12:34 pmI hate seeing ECU down so much. Re: Weekend games thread for Oct 3
Coastal Carolina has a pretty fun offense. Their young quarterback is playing really well. Which leads me to my next point. Why do we have so much trouble passing the ball? I know I know. We’ve already talked about it. That was sort of rhetorical

Watching Tennessee/Missouri and TCU/Texas. Ready for the big SEC games today, but due to UNCC being on tv and having married a 9er, I’ll be watching that at 4

That’s why I stocked up on some alcohol. UNCC now +4.5, started at +9. FAU must have some players sitting with that movement.
