I read that one too. Love it. So many national parks are out west I think people forget the beauty of the Appalachian range.

WV is a great outdoors region. The only thing I was disappointed in was Morgantown. It was kind of dreary when we were there. It was overcast the whole time so maybe that was it. We stayed at the Scholar Hotel which I do recommend. Ate at the Iron Horse Tavern and a few others I can't remember and the overall food was pretty good. I guess my expectations of a college town are too high. Like 3,333 ft too high.

Boone is different than most college towns, because most college towns are not vacation destinations.

Morgantown is a very small version of Pittsburgh - weather and climate - when it's dreary - it is DREARY -
